52/52 PROJECT: Week 45, Song 45 - Go Tell It On The Mountain
The 12 Bands of Christmas is an Augusta, GA tradition, raising money year after year for pediatric cancer research. It combines the universal appeal of music with the universal spirit of giving to support the fight against pediatric cancerFor the compilation this year I did, “Go Tell It On The Mountain.” It features my good friend Ben Mars on upright bass, harmony vocals, and beer bottle slide. Zach McNees provided the magic behind the mixing board and coached this very improv heavy session. I am very proud to be a part of this year’s compilation CD and the concert Saturday Dec 18th 2010 at The Imperial Theatre.
