Will McCranie - a raw, ravishing singer-songwriter
Will McCranie’s strumming will get to you. Propellant, soft, funky and bluesy, and all at the drop of a hat, it’s the bread and butter of McCranie’s one man wondershow. He has toured nationally, opened for the Goo Goo Dolls and Colbie Callait on the way, and last year he recorded a song a week, every week. (Do the math: that’s impressive.) Born in Augusta, GA and based in NYC, this child of the south has America’s richest musical traditions at his fingertips, as evidenced in his latest album smile.shift.speak. And by God, McCranie sings his heart out with every breath. This is country soul, pure and potent.
