52/52 PROJECT: Week 27, Song 27 - Start Running/Get Out
This week I wanted to give you an insight into how many songs are born… without much of a plan and not always sounding like the crisp final product you normally find in you iTunes library. Start Running/Get Out was a tune that popped in my head, I sat down, hit record, and played the first thing that came to mind. I’ve been sitting on this one take and have been playing this live for the past week. The chorus is pretty close on the demo, but the verses are still growing with each time I play it. It’s not perfect by a mile, but most things aren’t… hope you’ll catch it live soon to see where it’s going!
