52/52 PROJECT: Week 40, Song 40 - High

This is live from Mic-Club at Lucky Jack’s on Oct 28th, 2010.

I don’t have much to say for the song itself other than that I’ve seen way too many good kids lost to addiction to. It’s something that’s really bothered me for a while… I get way too many Facebook notices of kids I went to school with that pass for pointless reasons. This song was more or less my output for the multitude of thoughts on this subject that’ve been running through my head as a result. I’m no angel, but this is happening way too much.

I’ve been doing Whiskey Wednesday at The National Underground in NYC almost every week for about 7 months now. It’s a great time to test new song ideas. Last night was no exception.
